deleting alerts...

I can't seem to find out where to delete my alerts? I've deleted them from market analyzer, but some keep going off. Where do you remove them, like "remove all alerts" ?

Are you firing off alerts from your indicators/strategies?

ha, no

I'm not using any strategies or custom indicators. I was experimenting with market analyzer, level II, and alerts. I set up a couple of instruments with alert conditions in the market analyzer and they fired off. Then I wasted the alerts, and the instruments in market analyzer, and one of the alerts is still firing off. Like it's still held in buffer, or db or something.

Nt6.5? I don't know what could cause this. Do you have alerts being caused in another open workspace maybe?

6.5. Here's what I did, I unchecked alerts in market analyzer menu. No alerts. I switched workspaces, looking for alerts, reopened the workspace in question, and voila! it reset the alerts to checked and I got alerts again. So, yes, it seems as though an alert is cached, or something like that.

well, ok, yeah, but that doesn't solve the "lurking alert problem" does it?

- How many instruments in your MA?
- How many columns?
- How many alerts? What column/indicator were they created on?
- Do you recall what Alert was triggering?
