    32-bit crashes in Windows 7 in Parallels 6

    Here are the error messages. Where is the trace file I should send you?

    Under Tools/Data I have reset and repaired DB already but this still happens.

    The 64bit NT7 always has and continues to start and work perfectly.

    Thank you for your post.

    The error message you included indicates you either have a corrupt or out of date version of the 32-bit SQL Database technology.

    I would suggest you reinstall latest SQL Compact Edition 3.5. SP2 which is available here:



    Once you run the downloaded file it will ask you for a directory to extract to. Point this to a temporary directory that you will be able to find later, such as the desktop.

    Now go to this directory that you extracted this file and you will find 2 files. You will need to run both if you are on a 64 bit operating system.

    SSCERuntime_x86-ENU.msi

    SSCERuntime_x64-ENU.msi

    Follow the installation steps in the file, once this is done restart your PC and now you will be able to launch NinjaTrader 7 32-bit.

        i have the same problem but tried the solution with no luck. I get this error message

          Hello Freddy,

          There is a new version of SQL CE. The link above would not correct issues for the current version.

          Please follow the below steps below to ensure the correct version of SQL Compact Edition is installed on your PC.
          • Navigate to the Windows Control Panel
          • Add and remove software/programs
          • Uninstall any SQL Compact Editions you see, if none are present you may ignore this step and continue onto the next step
          • Install latest SQL Compact Edition 3.5. SP2 which is available here: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en...s.aspx?id=5783
          • Once you run the downloaded file it will ask you for a directory to extract the installer to. Point this to a temporary directory that you will be able to quickly locate later, such as the desktop
          • Navigate to the aforementioned directory in which the files have been extracted to (there will be two files)
          • SSCERuntime_x86-ENU.msi - Run this one first
          • SSCERuntime_x64-ENU.msi - No need to run this if you are on a 32 bit system, if you are on a 64 bit system you will also need to run this file, if you are not sure if you have a 64 bit system go ahead and run this file. If you are not using a 64 Bit operating system, the installer will cancel itself automatically
          • Follow the installation steps outlined in the installation wizard
          • Once installed you will need to restart your PC
          • You will now be able to launch NinjaTrader 7

          If you are still unable to launch NinjaTrader 7, please send an email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and include your most recent log and trace files, Attn: Matthew in the Subject line and a reference to this thread.


          You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
          • The log file will be named ‘log.20110920.txt’

          You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
          • The trace file will be named ‘trace.20110920.txt’
