    Patsystem+IB

    Dear Sirs,

I would like to run a strategy receiving real-time level II data from PatSystem
but I want to send orders to IB (because IB has a 5 depth book on Eurex while Pats has a 10 depth book).

    It is possible?
    Which license must I buy?

    Thanks
    GB

    Hello GB,

Yes, this is possible by purchasing a multi broker license key.

    Purchase Options - Multi Broker
The best value when purchasing NinjaTrader is to select one of our lifetime purchase options. Alternatively, you can also lease our software for a period of time that makes sense to you. We make purchasing NinjaTrader easy by providing you choice in how you access our software...choose a plan that suits you best!
    • Lifetime license for a one time payment of $1,495
    • Lifetime license for 4 easy monthly payments of $449
    • Several flexible leasing options starting as low as $75 per month

More information regarding our purchase options can be found at the link below.

Subsequently, you would connect to Patsystems first and IB second. That way, you will receive real-time data from Patsystems. Please see the link below for information regarding multiple connections.

In addition, please note that the SuperDOM is limited to display only 5 levels of market depth. The Level 2 window can display 10 price levels.

I am using NT 7.0.1000.6 and TWS 917.8

I have now this issue, not existing in the 7.0.1000.4 build of NT:

I connect to PATS and then to IB because
I want to receive real-time data from PATS and historical data from IB and eventually to trade using IB as broker. IB connection is the backup datafeed of Pats.

      Everything works fine for intraday data; but for daily data I am not able to load historical data;
in the historical manager I see the data of the contracts but the end-of-day charts are empty: I see only the current live bar.

      Can you help me?

        Hello GB,

Can you please right click in the daily charts and select 'Data Series..'. Please set 'Session template' to 'Default 24/5' or 'Default 24/7' and click OK. Check if daily data is displayed in the chart.

Unfortunately, there is an issue with daily charts that use the session template that is setup by default in version 7.0.1000.6. Development is aware of the issue and is working to have it resolved.

Can you please set 'Session template' to 'Eurex Fixed Income Futures' in the Data Series menu and check if this will make a difference.

If apply this template the chart is empty: I see only the last live bar.
If I look at the NT status bar I see NT is loading data..... but no historical bars appear...
I can see historical bars only using 24/5 or 24/7

                  Hello GB,

Can you please tell me what time zone is used as per your PC clock.

When I test it on my end, I load data with all three session templates mentioned. Can you please proceed as follows.

Close NinjaTrader and go to (My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->db and transfer the tick/minute/day folders outside the db folder to a temporary different location.

Set your PC clock to US MDT time zone (GMT -7).

Start NinjaTrader and create a new daily chart for the FGBL 09-11 using any of the session templates and check if you load the requested data as expected.

Likely, the issue only occurs when using daily data on certain time zones and certain session templates.

For other related issues I cannot move my clock to GMT-7.
I can survive but I hope you send a fix asap

                          Hello GB,

The issue will be fixed for the next NinjaTrader version we will release (7.0.1000.7). Unfortunately, there is no ETA yet when this version will be released.

You can revert back to version 7.0.1000.5 if like. The issue will not occur in 7.0.1000.5. You can download and install it from the link below.
