Ok, what's the best solution here. I have ZenFire and OpenTick. I can't seem to get daily charts. They don't update. I log into ZF and OT. Seems like OpenTick is not that happening. Is there a more stable solution?
My settings are: ZF for data, and with "no" back up data chosen, and I have historical data disabled, that I would " connect to a different source for historical". Is this right? Today I cannot get one update on a daily chart, it's grossly out of sync with the current tick.

That is corrrect. To confirm, only connect to OpenTick and request daily chart. If you get the same experience as you do when connected to Zen at the same time, then there must be some temporary data issues with the OT servers.

I have no idea if this is your problem, as I use different data providers, but I've noticed I have very inconsistent results using IQFeed if I have the exchange wrong in Instrument Manager or even try to use 'Default'. You may want to give that a look.
