Tick Replay Esignal

I have esignal as my data feed and am doing market replay I recorded the market today and it replays but the whole bar by bar. This is on a 1 minute chart. Is there any way I can have it show the activity between the open and close so it actually forms the bar as it would during regular hours? I saw somewhere that esignals data feed doesn't support. If the problem is I need another data feed which data feeds support this?


Also I am not sure if I am doing something wrong, but the recorded data works however when I try to go to file utilities download replay data (when connected to esignal) I get the error

Error on downloading replay data: NinjaTrader data server does not support this intrument, no data available

I have tried various equities both those that I recorded today and ones not recorded.

Thank you for your post.

If you are recording live data for market replay, you should have the bars for that time period built tick by tick in market replay. If you playback at a high speed, that can cause the chart to update by entire bars at a time on smaller time frames.

Regarding the error you are receiving, NinjaTrader offers market replay data for most common futures instruments, unfortunately we cannot offer every instrument for market replay download though. You will need to continue recording for market replay while receiving live data from your eSignal connection.

Thanks, is there a way I can download the tick data versus having to record? What data connections will let me download the tick data? Thanks

You may be able to download tick data from your provider depending on if they provide it (You can see a list of what providers offer here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...rical_data.htm), unfortunately this downloaded data will not be in the correct format for use in market replay. Only data recorded live for market replay or downloaded with the Download Replay Data tool can be used for market replay.
