Memory consumption

Hi at all,

one of the new features between NT7 and 6.5 should be a lower memory consumption. Well, I have currently 7 chart with a 5min time frame within data from 5 days and simultaneously an alert window. And I was wondering why the reaction of the app was so slow, i watched the processes and have seen, that NT uses 2.5GB RAM. My maschine is a Quad Core i7 with 16GB Ram and it is very slow now to handle any action with NT, like order moving in a chart.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for your post.

You may be able to mitigate some of this latency by making some modifications to your work space. First you will want to make sure that you have only the workspace that you are using open (no superfluous workspaces running in the background). You will also want to only bring in enough historical data into your charts that is necessary for calculating your indicators and/or strategies.
