Kinectick: $EURUSD error - unknown instrument

Trying to download historical daily data for EURUSD with the free daily version of Kinectick and get the error:
"Unable load historical data unknown instrument (Panic)"

Any ideas?

Hello,

Thanks for the note and welcome to the NinjaTrader support forum.

There are two cases I could see this occuring.

1) You have a chart somewhere in your workspace that is an unknown instrument.
2) Your instrument is not setup correctly in the instrument manager.

Please first, Current release of NinjaTrader is version 7.0.1000.4.

Please make sure your running the latest version by checking in control center->help->about.

Then if you are running the latest and still getting the error please do the following.

You can reset the instrument manager following the instructions below.

Disconnect from your connection by going to Control Center->File->Disconnect->(Your Active Connection).

Then in the Control Center->Tools->Options->Data Tab.

You will see the reset instruments button in that tab. Click on that and then restart NinjaTrader after it has finished resetting the instrument manager.

Once you restart NinjaTrader please try to pull up date for the instrument again.
