Bug in Output Window Clear Function

Since when the output window fills up, it throws away some of the output and tells you it did so at the top of the output window, I try to avoid this by clearing the output window before doing my strategy testing.

I do this by right-clicking and selecting "Clear" from the pop-up.

I've had the following error happen quite a number of times when I try to do a clear:



This may be why I was sporadically getting these messages before (the output window filling up) if there's some synchronization problem under these conditions or something like that.

Thanks for the bug report.

Can you please post trace file or send to support at ninjatrader dot com for the time and date that this happened and also any other reproducible steps. Looks like you simply right click and select clear on the output window correct?

I assume you know how to send in the trace file, let me know if you do not know.
