I purchased the license, when I brought up super dom, the message said, you can't use super dom. please use static dom, what is wrong?

Thank you for that clarification, and what is occurring is that the Static SuperDOM is enabled by default for your current license. Since the Static SuperDOM relies on a Trading Technologies patented price ladder display it requires an associated fee:

In some cases the cost associated with that patented technology is handled by the broker and thus the Static SuperDOM is the required method for trading futures contracts like the CL by default.

However, you can contact your broker regarding the Trading Technologies Transaction Credits and how those are handled, and if you wish we can disable the Static SuperDOM on your license to enable the Dynamic SuperDOM if you send an email to sales[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and include your license found in the Help > License Key field.

Since the cost is separate from the license I would recommend that you precede that license modification, if you decide to make that change, by discussing this particular issue with your particular broker.
