NT Trying to Plot Good Friday for US Equities RTH

How do I get rid of NT trying to plot last friday (April 22, 2011) on a 1 min chart? It is throwing everything off.

    Hello tradinginzen,

    Thank you for your post.

Can you please clarify which instrument you are loading? Who do you connect to for data? How is the data appearing to load?

When I load the AAPL with US Equities RTH, I see a Friday 4/22 filtered out of the chart.

I look forward to assisting you further.

Hi, thanks for the reply... I use Interactive Brokers.

      I attached a screenshot.

        Hello,

Thanks for the screen shot - I was able to replicate this issue when using more than 1 data series on the chart.

I would suggest creating a new custom session template and excluding Friday's session and applying them to both data series.

Please see our Help Guide article on Session Manager and creating a custom session template:

Can we put a specific date on session? I thought we would exclude every friday instead of just last good friday if we use the custom session template stated above. Am I wrong?

Is it just a bug NT7 needs to fix?

            Hello tradinginzen,

Yes, you are correct that creating a custom session template will exclude all Fridays with that session template loaded.

Adding the ability to exclude holiday's with the session manager is on our development teams list of future considerations.

Unfortunately, this is expected behavior when using multiple data series on a chart as this will force the charts to use non equidistant bars spacing. Breaking the data series up into their own individual charts should clear up the issue as a workaround.
