    Marking future dates on charts

I would like to highlight news events for the week in advance. (FOMC meetings etc) so I can look them up mark my charts in advance. So lets say that FOMC is next Tuesday at 1:00pm EST. I would like to place a vertical line or highlighted zone that reminds me of this as the chart progresses towards this time and multiple other events during the week. Ideally I could get all this out of the way on Sunday in preparation for the week. Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks.

Bill, take a look at this indicator posted in the forums. It looks like it does exactly what you want. The indicator is called jtEconNews and can be found here.

Thanks Austin, but the only link is to Kinetick?? I found jtEconNews on BigMike's but latest posts suggest that it is no longer being supported and doesn't work for the latest NT release. I assume that manually placing simple vertical lines or text at a forward date/time is not possible within NT?

        Hello billr,

Yes, all the drawing objects have method signatures that allow you to draw at a future date / time.

DrawVerticalLine(string tag, DateTime time, Color color, DashStyle dashStyle, int width)
