unable to start NT7 Version 4

Attached screen captures show the error message I get when trying to open NT7 Version 4. When I close this error the next one say Ninja has detected a problem and needs to close.

Can you help?

Thank you for your post.

You likely have installed an outdated version on SQL Compact Edition. Please follow the steps outlined below:

• Go to Control panel
• Add and remove software
• Uninstall any SQL Compact Edition you'll see
• NT7 comes with it's own copy of SQL Compact Edition 3.5 SP2, no need to have it installed
• In case you needed it for different products then you needed to install latest SQL Compact Edition 3.5. SP2 which is available here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Note: If you're installing on a 64-bit Windows then please pay particular attention to the release notes on that Microsoft site.

don't see the sql item you refer to .

the last major thing i did was install MSOffice2010Plus 64bit.

Operating system is Windows 7 Professional

If you do not see any Microsoft SQL related programs in the Add/Remove programs list within Windows, then use the following link to download and install SQL Compact Edition 3.5 SP2.

Where do u locate the edition of NT7 that u are running.

You can check what version you are currently running under Help -> About.

The latest version is NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.5

Use the following link to download NinjaTrader. You can register your current license key which can be found under the Control Center -> Help--> License Key

The registration just means you input your license key and it lets us know you are an existing NinjaTrader user.

This is to access the download page.

You either need to register as a new demo user, or input your existing NinjaTrader license key.

The only other point you would need to enter you license key is after installation.

NinjaTrader will prompt you should you need to enter your license key.
