    Unable to login (10004)(LoginFailed)

    I am having problem connecting to zenfire. I contacted amp futures and they verified that my user named and password was correct. However when i attempt to login in I get the error message saying Unable to login (10004)(LoginFailed). I am using ninjatrader 6.5.

    Thank you for your post.

    Please restart NinjaTrader and try connecting again.

    The error message you are receiving also means that the login process was unable to get to the Zen-Fire servers.

    Temporarily disable or configure any firewalls and anti-virus software as needed until a connection can be made.

      Hi
      I am getting the same results. My first attempt to log in gives me a error message Unable to login (10001)(LoginFailed). And all other attemps gives me a error saying Unable to login (10004).

        Are you using any Firewall or Anti-Virus software at this time?

        If so, please temporarily disable these and restart NinjaTrader and try your connection again.

        When you receive the error: Unable to login (10001) you will need to restart before you try again or you will receive the (10004) error.

          This is strange, I only have windows fire wall and no anti virus program. I had disable windows firewall and tried multiple times and still got the same error. I restarted ninja trader one more time and tried again and i got connected. I am sure the problem is not solve and it will happen again because I did nothing new when i got connected.

            Glad to hear that you were able to get connected.

            Just remember the first error you saw, Unable to login (10001), means that the login process was unable to connect to the Zen-Fire servers. Continued attempts to connect after receiving this error will result in the second error you saw, Unable to login (10004).

            If you are receiving Unable to login (10004) restart NinjaTrader and try the connection again.

              Just as i thought the problem is back again. I logged off and tried logging back in and started getting the same error messages. Any idea as to what the problem may be ?

                ATTN: Cameron - in the subject and a link to this forum post in the body.

                Provide me with your Zen-Fire username and password.

                  I notice that my computer date was off by a day, I corrected that and I am now being connected consistently. I am not sure if this was the problem but I will watch and see if this problem comes back.

                    Your current PC clock can effect the connectivity of NinjaTrader to Zen-Fire.

                    Ensure that your PC clock has been synced.

                    You can sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated.
