What is more important to me getting accurate fills....upload speed or download speed?

I am currently shopping for a new internet provider, would download speeds of 10MPS and upload speeds of 1 or 2 MPS be adequate to run Ninja w/Cqg data or will I always be recieving terrible fills?

Thank you for your post.

With a downstream rate of 10MBps & upstream of 1 – 2 MBps you should have sufficient bandwidth. Most issues usually occur on either the customer’s PC or broker servers/processing orders, fills, account updates, etc. Bottom line is that other factors would impact performance that might impact messaging between you & the broker but at this level of bandwidth (unless it’s on the order of 1000’s of orders per second) you should be fine.

Perhaps others on the forum would like to share their experiences & feedback on this topic.
