bar types

hi
i read that NinjaTrader supports a large variety of chart bar Typesi(point figure,renko) but i have ninjatrader 7 and i don't find them in the chat. can you please tell me how can i use them?

Thank you for your post.

The bar type can be changed from within the Data Series window.

• Right click in your chart -> Data Series
• Select the 'Type' drop down menu and select the bar type you wish to use.
• Press 'OK'

Note, certain bar types require tick data and not all data providers support historical tick data. The following link will allow you to review the data that is supported by our data providers.

With the Type drop down menu selected, you may need to scroll the menu down.
