IB Requested market data is not subscribed (354)

Hi, I'm placing trades from TS--> NT -->IB. I have been getting the above msg.

I have the connection settings "backup datafeed connection: is set to external, but I have no external feed. Should this be set to IB?

I'm not getting any prices following into NT right now, today is the first day live with IB, so it's not as if this has suddently stopped working for me.

The mapping of the shares are properly set for IB.

Hi W2,

That message is coming from IB. Before working on the TS side of things, you should get the data working with IB delivering data into NinjaTrader. External is not needed as a backup data feed here, as you cannot have both connection to IB and External at the same time.

What instrument and exchange are you attempting to retrieve data for?
Can you receive data for this instrument in the stand alone TWS application?
