Free version and live account

Hello,
is it possible to use the free version of NT7 to access a live account?

I don't need to trade live yet, but my futures data (provided by the broker) are now, after 30-day period, delayed by 15 minutes. I would like to access real time data through a live account, but I'm happy with the simulated trading (Sim101).

Hi,

This is possible, however you need to have a funded account with a datafeed provider in order to receive Live data. We don't have a provider available who provides Live data for free.

Thank you for your reply. I understand I need at least a minimally funded live account, no problem.

One more question: For live trading, will I need a multibroker NT7 licence (in the future) if I want - besides of using my broker's forex data - also utilize, for example, Kinetick feed?

Yes, for this scenario you would need to have a Multi Broker license.

Hi,

No that is not correct. When you have an account with IB you can paper trade with Live data, you can't submit Live orders.

To trade Live you would need to purchase a Live license.
