Notices from NT

I didn't see an answer to this in the forum....or I missed it....but where can I go revisit a notice that Nt sent out. I mean when I start up NT in the morning, sometimes there is a message...and there was a recent one about updating to NT7...and I accidentally checked the "do not show this message again" box...

So where can I find a list of all the messages NT has sent out?

Hi Jonathan,

Thank you for your post.

It's not possible to cause the message to trigger again once the 'don't show this again' box has been checked, but you can 'trick' NinjaTrader in to showing these again by preventing your Config file from loading.

The first thing you'll want to do is save a copy of your license key. You'll find that key in the Help > License Key menu.

Next, shut down NinjaTrader and take the following steps:

• Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 6.5 / 7 folder.
• Select the file named 'Config.xml' and move it to your desktop.
• Restart NinjaTrader and enter your key when prompted.

You'll then see the notifications appear as they did originally. When you're ready to return to your other settings:

• Shut down NinjaTrader.
• Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 6.5 / 7 folder.
• Delete the existing Config file.
• Move the Config file from your desktop back to the NinjaTrader 6.5 / 7 folder.

Is there not just a webpage where I can go see all these release and information notes sent out by NT? I have to go mess around with config folders just to go see what the company has said in the past?

Hi Jonathan,

This is the only way to see all the alerts again, but I will forward your suggestion that we create a webpage to list this information on to my superiors.
