formatting x (time) axis

I am an absolute noob and I am just groping around NT7 and trying my way around it.

Is it possible to format the x/time axis to, say, show 1 axis label per data or date format the label?

Also, is there a printed (pdf) user manual of the software or some kind of user guide book that I can get my hands on. I am new to trading and new to the software so there is a lot of loose disjointed bits of info that I am trying to piece at the moment.

The x-axis in the NinjaTrader 7 charting feature will be auto-formatted so manually configuring these in the Chart Properties menu is not available.
