Global cross hairs seem to work OK for me in NT...no extra ghost lines appear....and they also work OK when doing a video (with Jing)...(link below)...plus my ram and CPU are truly minimal as is my video card...

I do feel there are better ways to do Global cross hairs than the current method though...see comments in video....

    Many thanks....

Thanks for the video Alfred. TradeStation has what you recommend, a vertical line which is displayed on all charts, and NT sort of does this with their lines, you can go under the properties and enable to show on all chart windows of the same instrument.

        Hello,

Thanks indeed alfred, My Experience mirrors yours. No issues on my PC with ghosting with multiple charts and no ghosting like what JoshDance experienced. In my other post I mentioned that there are other factors that play into this that are simply not in our control.

Alfred, wanted to let you know that you ideas on global tracking I will submit this into development and get a tracking number for you.

Thank You very much for the constructive feedback alfred! We do utilize it and NinjaTrader is built around it. If I remember correctly we have several great idea's from you so far.

            Alfred,

When using regular crosshair (not global) and moving the cursor outside of chart window either from the top, bottom, or left side, does it leave a vertical line on your chart? I had this problem for a long time and with a high performance video card, as suggested by NT support, it still didn't fix the issue. The only work around for me is to move the cursor off the right hand side for it to clear the vertical line which is very annoyance.

            Thanks...

hcgaloi...moving to left or right it clears OK...top or bottom clears sometimes OK...and sometimes not...maybe 50/50 or so...playing around in another chart will then sometomes clear it though...

              Thanks...
