Dont want to Backup Ticks

My historical database is quite big by now and the backups are taking hours and consuming GBs. Everthing would run faster, if NT7 wouldn't collect all these tick and bid & ask data in the historical data base. I don't even use them (I only work with minutes and days) and don't understand why they are being collected.
Is there any way to force NT7 to store only minutes and days and only "last" data and not "bid" and "ask". Or perhaps it would be possible to exclude them at least from the backup.
Is there any way to do that?

Unfortunately, there is not an option to exclude one type of data over the other. You can configure NinjaTrader to not store your historical chart data, however this will exclude all of the chart data from being saved.

You can always go into the Historical Data Manager and delete the data you do not wish to store.

In addition, you can exclude historical trade data from your backups by unchecking 'Historical Chart data" when running the backup utility.
