The strategy would be: when 3 consecutive RANGE bars close on their high, go long for 4 ticks target. And the opposite for going short. When 3 consecutive RANGE bars close on their low, go short for 4 ticks. Not sure on stop yet...maybe 12 ticks. If anyone could get me started or show me would be great! Thanks, Thanks, Thanks!!!

New Strategy?
I was wondering if someone could show me how to make a simple strategy. Or I "think" it would be simple just dont know where to even start. Lets see if I can explain what I want to do. BTW..I'm using Ninja 7.

Hello sdt929,
Generally we do not provide strategy development services but this is likely the best way for you to see how it can be setup in the strategy wizard.
Attached is a sample strategy that shows the long side of this with a target. You want to compare the Close == High for the current bar. (bars ago = 0), as well as the two previous bars. (bars ago = 1, and 2).
Easiest way to see how this is defined is import into your platform and then edit the strategy.
Please see here for help with the strategy wizard in general. There are examples for the most common items you'll come across, and help for setting up targets and stop losses.Attached FilesRyan M.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Thanks and quick question!!!
Is there a way for the strategy to only take 1 trade? Say a signal triggers for a long and I get in and scalp my 4 ticks? Maybe wait for a short signal trigger and take the short. Then wait for another long. Sorry...I know this is a really dumb question but I know nothing about setting a strategy up....Just trying to learn. THANKS

Yes, it's possible to do most of these things in the strategy wizard. You can do market position checks for your entries if you only want reversals. You can also create sequences through the use of user variables.
If you're just getting started, this page on the strategy development process introduces you to a lot of concepts essential to strategy development:
