    CQG Index Symbols

    This morning I got an error message saying, "Error on loading chart data for '^ADV': NinjaTrader data server does not support this instrument, no data available." This is
    the first day I've gotten this error. The data is coming in realtime, but all the historical is gone. Same error on ^DECL.

        Unfortunately historical index data will be unavailable for the remainder of this week due to unforeseen maintenance issues. We are sorry for the temporary inconvenience.

          I'm getting this error again with CQG index symbols ^ADV and ^DECL. I am unable to chart them. There is a big red X on my chart.

            There was an issue with CQG at Sunday Market open. If you are having issues with historical data, please restart NinjaTrader.

            Due to this error, you may not have access to historical index data.

            Regarding the big red X in your chart, can you provide me with the following log and trace files.

            You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

            • The log file will be named log.20110328.txt

            You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

            • The trace file will be named trace.20110328.txt

            To send us the Log file, please send a note to: Support [at] NinjaTrader [dot] com ATTN: Cameron in the subject, and link to the forum in the body. Attach the Log and Trace Files.

              I restarted Ninja and I am getting realtime updates on these symbols but still no historical.

                We just received an update that the issue I had mentioned with CQG historical index data has been resolved.

                Please restart NinjaTrader once more, if you do not receive historical data, please let me know.
