    Pgfapi/nt7.0.1000.4

    Hi

    I've just upgraded to the latest build of NT7 and downloaded the latest PGFAPI.

    Now there is no connection, but I notice the PGFAPI does not start or display in the taskbar.

    Please help.

    Hello atrader101,

    Can you please perform a reboot of your PC. Subsequently start NinjaTrader and connect to PFG. The PFG API client should appear automatically in the lower right corner of the Windows task bar and subsequently you will get connected to PFG in NinjaTrader.

    If the issue remains, can you please confirm you installed PFG API version 1.0.463.

      Thanks Jason. I had already rebooted, but I have done it again without success. The installed version of pfgapi.exe is 1.0.463.

        Can you please try an uninstall/re-install of the PFG API client. Close NinjaTrader and uninstall the PFG API client from the Windows Control Panel-->Programs and Features.

        Clear your browser cache and re-install the PFG API client from the link below.


        Reboot your PC.

        Start NinjaTrader and connect to PFG. Check if the PFG API client will automatically appear and if it connects NinjaTrader to PFG.

            Can you please open the Windows Task Manager (Ctrl + Alt + Delete) and select the Processes-tab. Check if you see the PFGAPI.exe process and terminate it.

            Restart NinjaTrader and try the PFG connection once more.

            If the issue remains, please send me your PFG connection information so I can test your connection on my end. I will need the following information.
            • Account number
            • Access key
            • Order server IP address and port number
            • Quotes server IP address and port number
            • Historical minute data server IP address and port number
            • Historical tick data server IP address and port number
            Please send it to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header and reference this forum thread.

              Just to complete this post: this was fixed by reinstalling NT7 as requested by support.
