    Kyle,

Alright I'll do that. FYI... I looked at the Session Manager and changed the CME Globex Index Futures RTH template to Eastern from Central (and left all the start and end times the same) just to see what would happen. I started a new 3 min chart and the data starts at 8:30, an hour too far back. I changed it back to Central time. Opened a new chart and the data now starts at 10:00!. All the Start and End times were never changed they still read 8:30 start and 3:15 end.

          ?

          Hello

I am confused regarding this as well as things changed after Daylight Savings Time.

I have 6E 06-11 on my chart with session template CME FX Futures ETH and are located in CET time zone using XP SP3 and NT 7.0.1000.2

On sunday the chart does not show any data before 00:00 CET even though the contract opened at 23:00 CET.

If I change session template to Default 24/7 it works well though but is this really how it should work?

          Thanks

Note that the session breaks are correct. 23:00 CET last week and 22:00 this week. But the first hour 22:00 - 23:00 on sunday do not show up with session template CME FX Futures ETH. As said, confusing...

            Hi UpUp&Away,

The U.S. made the switch to daylight savings time over the weekend. I believe that's the source of the issue.

              !

              Well, I know they did.

What is confusing is why I do not see first hour of data with standard session template CME FX Futures ETH. One would think the application handles the fact that US changed to daylight savings time.

And basically it does as the session break on monday is correct (one hour earlier CET). But first hour on sunday is not shown. Will be interesting to see if same thing next sunday.

                Hi UpUp&Away,

Perhaps I misunderstood - are you saying that, when using the CME FX Futures ETH template, the session does not open Sunday at 5:00 PM CST?

My computer is set to CET and the contract opens at 00:00 sunday and closes at 22:00 monday. Open again 00:00 monday and likely close 22:00 tuesday (today)

The close is changed (since last week) from 23:00 to 22:00 which is correct and correspond to 16:00 CST. The open should be 23:00 instead of 00:00 and therefore incorrect.

The data between 23:00 and 00:00 is there (in the data base) but does not show with CME FX Futures ETH session template.

Can I use different time zone on chart axis compared to what my computer is set to? Then I can set the chart to show CST instead and maybe all is well.

                      Hi UpUp&Away,

The charts will always use the time your PC's clock is set to, but you could adjust the session template via the Session Manager: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...on_manager.htm

Yeah I know but it would be good if the logic with session templates takes the dst change into account. And frankly I cannot see how I would be able to construct a better session template than the standard CME FX Futures ETH whith its correct local times.
                        Weird stuff.

                        Well, thanks for your help.

                            UpUp&Away,

Thanks for writing back in with this.

Just to confirm, all you did was to delete data via the Historical Data Manager and reload, correct? No other steps were required?

I would say that was the only thing. I did change session templates a couple of times back and forth but that did not change anything. I also shut down the computer but that was done yesterday as well so probably not what did it. The deletion of data was the only "new" thing I did.
