    $vold/^vol

    I have connections to both zenfire and IB and I'm trying to get the $VOLD to display on a chart. As I understand it the symbol is ^VOL for NT.

    When I open up a chart for ^VOL it doesn't load any historical data for it, making it near useless when trying to look at 60 minute bars. Is there away to get more data from IB for this symbol?

    Also I can't seem to get the BANK index symbol right do you know what it is?

    EDIT
    I just created my own index and it seems to work no

      Hello,

      Thanks for your note.

      Can you please go into TWS as a test and try to pull up uVOL, can you pull the historicall data up there for this contract?

      I look forward to assisting you further.

          Hello,

          Yes sounds good. Once IB has it we should be able to then recieve it.

          Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

            Well I've contacted IB and they say they don't offer the Volume Index. So no I'm curious how I'm getting any data at all for it.

            Also I've noticed the same thing for advancing/decliing issues (I think the NT symbol is ^ADD) but dont know what it is in TWS to confirm.

            EDIT (I know it's not ^ADD) the esignal symbol is $ISSU. Any idea what it would be for NT?

              Hello,

              Does eSignal also use $ADD? As we have it mapped to this.

              If needed you can always change the eSignal mapping to $ISSU for the ADD instrument.

              Under ControL Center->Tools->INstrument Manager->Edit the ADD->Misc Tab->eSignal symbol map.
