Data retrieval failures for Phlx indices on Yahoo and Google

Dear Developers,

This is actually two problems. NT7 is unaware of some of the Philadelphia (and some other, widely used) indices, like ^XOI, ^OSX, ^HGX, ^HUI, ^NGX ... etc. Entering any one of these on a chart results in an error message: "Invalid instrument name".

Surprisingly, NT7 knows about ^SOX and ^XAU. But it is only able to get daily data for these two from Kinetick. Trying to load either index from Yahoo or Google will fail with the attached error message.

Kinetick, however, does not provide volume data for indices, like ^SP500 etc., while Yahoo, Google both do. Thus currently one has to keep switching between providers to get proper data for e.g. ^SP500, or ^SOX and ^XAU.

Hello geoninja,

I was able to receive data in NinjaTrader using the Yahoo connection and by setting up these indices manually in the Instrument Manager. I tested the first three indices - ^XOI, ^OSX and ^HGX.

Please see the attached screenshots for the ^XOI. I used the Yahoo website to check what exchange I need to enable.

Can you please setup the other indices in a similar way and add them to your instrument list. Subsequently check if you receive daily data when creating a chart.
