Error Message

I am getting an error message - see attached.

This happens when i have more inputs than usual.

How many inputs are you using here in this strategy? Does it matter on which optimizer type you work?

I have about 50 inputs. It doesnt matter on the type of optimizer, genetic, ph or general. I just tried the PH version to see if i had the same error. The genetic optimizer still occasionaly only runs on one core.

Thanks, I was seeing the same thing here on a strategy with 50 inputs - we will look into it. For the GA using one core - would you have a scenario where you see this most often so I can try chasing this one further?

Multiple indicators

Usually i run into it when i am trying to do a large scale test with multiple indicators over a long time period. I dont seem to think its a ram issue as when i do get it to run (by cutting my search area) it still doesnt use much memory...usually under a gig for 5 years of minute data.

Ah you mean on the Single core issue, no its completely random. Usually the same code, just a different day....Sorry i havent found any correlations yet.

Yes, I was interested in the single core issue we worked also on - so no enums involved? The other raised issue about the max # of inputs is being looked into currently by development.

No i dont have any enums or bool statements. All i can say is it runs fine on the PH genetic optimizer. The GA is questionable, it runs fine when it works. I dont get any errors when it doesnt work, as it still works just only uses one core.

I am running a lot of tests now though so if it happens again i will send you directly the trace/logs, and the strategy i am running. I dont know if it will help, but maybe.
