Hello,

after all the months using NT I don´t know exactly how the backup and restore work. Of course I know why to do and how to do. When I do the backup so that after installing new indicators the might cause a problem or new templates or workspaces cause a problem so that I can restore to have the situation same as before. But I´m not sure anymore if this will be as it happened in my humble opinion there was not the same situation as before after restoring.

Hello,

Thanks for your note.

For the restore function will never delete custom ninjascript. It will instead only restore items it needs too.

Therefor it will not remove a template for example only all templates from the restore file.

Therefor to get it exactly back as it was before would require a full install of NinjaTrader and reisntall and then restore the backup.

Let me know if you need instructions on how to do this full uninstall. Requires manually deleting the NinjaTrader 7 folder inside of My Documents after you uninstall NinjaTrader from the control center.
