Question about trading with 2 simultaneous connections

I just want to confirm that NT is going to work the way I expect in the following situation:

Assuming that I already have a live trading account with a futures broker, I am thinking that I can also open an account with a forex broker, and have both feeds connected simultaneously, being able to trade through both. If I select a futures contract to trade, the order should go to broker #1, and if I select a currency pair it should go to broker #2. There should be no problems with this setup assuming that I have a multi-broker license, correct? If there are any caveats to this scenario please let me know.

Based on the sceanario you described in your original post, NinjaTrader will behave exactly as you would expect given you have a multi-broker license.
