Autocenter to freely scroll up and down the DOM?

When I'm using the static DOM and want to place, say, a distant stop or distant limit-order (that is, far from the current price), should I simply right-click on the DOM and click (uncheck) autocenter? (Typically, once I've scrolled to my desired price, punched in the desired order, I simply re-click (check) the autocenter, enabling it, and continue to monitor the market price.)

This is what I've been doing and want to confirm that it's the best (or perhaps only way) of doing this. Thanks.

This is the only way of accomplishing what you're looking to do within the SuperDOM. If any other questions come up, please let us know.
