    Chart Data Stops

    Hi All,

    I am using NT 7.0.1000.2 with a Zen Fire feed. I am a new NT 7 user, having recently upgraded from 6.x. I was a long time user of NT 6.x.

    I am finding that my CL chart stops updating at precisely 2:30 PM EST every day. Yet, I continue to see data coming in to my DOM. Is there some strange setting I have in place that I'm not aware of?

    Thank you for your post.

    You may need to set your chart to retrieve 24 hour data.

    To retrieve 24/7 data on a chart, please follow the directions below.
    • Right click in your chart and select Data Series.
    • In the Data Series menu, set the "Session Template" property to "Default 24/7", then click OK.

      Awesome. That did the trick. I had changed my global default session settings, but, the instrument settings are not what I expected. Thanks!

          Hi, I was unsure where to ask my question. It's regarding charting and setting a specific tick and time where a chart begins printing bars. Is that possible?

            Hello syxforex,

            Thank you for your post.

            You can set custom times when a chart begins printing bars by creating custom session templates.

            To create custom Session Templates go to Tools-->Session Manager-->New.

            I have provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over the Session Manager.

            After you have created a custom Session Template be sure to enable it on your chart.
            • Right click in your chart and select Data Series.
            • In the Data Series menu, set the "Session Template" property to 'your custom template', then click OK.
