Override price bars

I have two questions on controlling what gets drawn on the price bar panel.

- How do I draw my own price bars instead of the default (is it simply overriding Plot and marking the series transparent?)

- How do I control drawing a new bar based on my own logic instead of one of the built-in types such as tick, volume, time etc.

Yes, that is one approach. You can see the system indicator HeikenAshi which uses this. You can also program your own BarType. You can view source code for existing bar types at:
My Documents\NinjaTrader\bin\custom\type\@BarTypes.cs

Our support for this is limited. We can point you to the existing scripts, but unfortunately can't assist with the specific implementation or assist with issues using custom bar types.
