Active orders vs. working order

Hello,

I'm newbie in NT.
while I was studying the section Syncing Account Positions of help, one problem is discussed. the help reads: "When your strategy starts it will check for any active orders previously generated by the strategy on your account and cancel those first."
in this can be read about the active orders. I've read about other order too about the working orders. I'm a little bit counfused what are the working and active orders in NT.
my question would be: which other orders use the NT? which orders denominates the NT active and working orders? what are the key concept differences between thus? the opened orders (buy, or sell) is belong to one of us?
or where can I read more about it?
it would be important what orders will cancel.

Orders would be considered 'working' if they rest at the exchange, active orders for example can include stop orders in accepted state that rest either locally or at your broker.
