draw lines backup/restore does not work

Hi,

I found this problem in 7.0.1000.2 and did not see a fix in the release note of 7.0.1000.3 beta

I backup all my data (wkspace, config, db....) via the backup utilities tool. Copied the backup file to another machine and restore the file on the same version of NT7. While the horizontal lines (F6) are restored correctly, lines(F2) are missing. Is there any workaround solution I can use for now?

Hi,

Thank you for your post.

On the installation where the lines were originally attached can you please go to My Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Templates > Chart Objects and see if there are any line settings there, and if so you can copy those .xml files to another installation and place in the same location.

Also, the My Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Templates > Global Chart Objects would include similar drawing objects, and so you will want to compare those same folders on both installations.
