Multiple sources of live data

I would like to use multiple sources of "live" data.
i.e I would like to use IB for futures data and IQ feed for Stocks.
I currently am not to subscribed to stock data on IB and am using IQFEED

I have connected first to IB as my primary data source and IQ as my back up historical feed.

When I call up a stock I get a message that "Requested market data is not subscribed.Error&BEST/STK/Top 354" but it does not default to IQFEED as I would expect and I get no data at all. Backup data feed is set to IQFEED.

Can someone help with this please?

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately NinjaTrader will attempt to pull all available data from the first connection. Since IB offers data for Futures, Forex, Index and Equities it will not look at the second connection IQFeed.

In this scenario your first connection would need to be subscribed to all markets you would like to view since they both support all assets.
