Chart does not pull up previous hours

    Hello.

Please see attached screenshot. I logged in at 10am (my time) and that is when the bars start. What's missing is the data and the bars from midnight to 10am. I opened the Data Series to show you my settings.
Can you please advise what I need to change in my settings.

Ok, thanks - is historical data access then enabled in your ZenFire configuation under Tools > Account Connections?

No, it wasn't - blush Thanks. That of course handled it right away!

I have this same problem. Amp with Zen-Fire.
I use NQ charts all the time & they are fine.

Just tried ES charts and I get no historical data. Historical data is enabled under Tools, Acct Connection Setup for both AMP Demo & Zen-Fire. The option to "reload hist data" is unavailable when I right-click on the ES chart.

Which exact NT version are you using here? You can check this under Help > About in the software.

To further clarify: you see the reload option available on your NQ charts but no on the ES ones?

                  It's ok now.
It locked up & I had to shut it down.
When I started it back up everything worked fine.
                  Thanks.

                    Hello.

I now ran into the same problem again as described on my first post this thread. The chart shows a gap for several hours.

Difference to prevously is that I am using CQG through AMP as data provider. I am using NT 7.0.1000.3

                    What I did thus far:
I checked Historical Data in the Account connection.
Data Series. Session template is set to DEFAULT 24/7
Data Series. Enddate is set to 3/16/2011.

I disconnected, then re-started but no change.

AMP says it may be a gap in the data feed from CQG.

                    BUT
When I connect, it does give me the gap in the chart. I let it run for 5 minutes and it creates bar after bar - let's say from 10:02-10:07.

I then disconnect and re-start at 10:11. There is still a gap and the bars start to create from 10:11 onward. The data from 10:02-10:07 is not there either.

CQG is apparently not available for another 3 hours. Can you help?

Addition: I do not think it is a problem with settings in NT but rather a problem with the data provider. I tried the ZenFire connection and everything showed up nicely. It's a problem with CQG.

sandman, thanks for the post and update - we're currently in touch with CQG to look into it.

Thanks. The problem seems to be solely in the CQG data feed concerning the currency Mini Futures like 6E, 6S, 6J. There is no gap problem with CL and ES.

Thanks for your testing, yes it confirms our findings as well.

I see. So at least I'm not alone. What did CQG tell you? My broker told me they open their Chicago support office at 7am so they should have been able to fix this by now.
