Colour Coordinated?

Hi there,

All four strategies are active but one is green and three are yellow.
What are the differences?
I have also noticed that only the green one is trading and the yellow ones aren't.

Zhorny, the yellow ones are waiting to be flat to start trading live / turn to green state -

Hmmm ok. Those other three contracts don't have any positions and are flat as to why I don't understand why they're yellow.

Could you please explain further? Am I missing something?

Please check the executions of those yellow strategies, they should be still in a position from historical data waiting to get flat to execute a fresh entry signal then for you.

I've reset the sim account and also pressed the Flatten Everything button but still getting all yellow strategies.

Any suggestions please to get greens?

You can change your 'on starting a realtime strategy' setting to 'immediately submit' and then ensure that 'SyncAccountPosition' is set to 'true' as you enabled the stratgegies - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...tegies_tab.htm

I've read the articles but it really won't reset the positions.
I cannot see anywhere to delete these invisible "historic" trades.

This is asking a lot but is there a step by step to deleting reseting everything and starting again?

Zhorny, whenever you start up strategies they will go through the historical OnBarUpdate() calls per default, arriving at a virtual position that the strategy would have from historical data - this would be expected behavior - if you do not wish to deal with this please work in either WaitUntilFlat mode or put if (Historical) return before your OnBarUpdate() trade entry conditions, as this will then only allow them to be triggered for realtime received bars.
