Putting our account numbers on public servers !

    All

I had a couple of crashes today and so I used the Ninja email feature to send my log & trace files to Ninja.

I got an email back which contained the line:

I clicked this URL & guess what? I go straight to a zip file that contains, amongst other information, my IB account number.

So - my account number is currently sitting out there on file available to anyone without even a password.

Can you please remove this immediately ? It is a huge security hole. I am not happy about this at all.

    Hello,

The file is located on an FTP server. However the files are not openly browsable. So you would have to know the exact file name which does have a very long key hash on it therefor making it near impossible to access the file. At no time is this information unprotected or publicly available as only you and our support team are able to access the file.

    Thank you.
