Yahoo EOD data problem for UK symbols

1.) Right - the delayed data is free, but you need to pay for real-time data in order to access that free delayed intraday data.

2.) Can you clarify what you mean by this? It's not a term I'm familiar with.

I mean fundamental data associated with company, like Q1 EPS, Q2 EPS, Q1 Revenue, Q2 Rev, Q1 Net profit, Q2 Net profit etc?

Unfortunately, it's not possible to reference other columns in the MA by default. This is on development's list of items for further consideration, however.

As per your suggestion, I am now trying to connect to google, but not able to download data (getting google panic error)

Here is text from my trace file:

2011-02-15 21:17:16:194 (Google) Data.Bars.GetBarsNow: instrument='FTSE' from='2011-02-08' to='2011-02-15' period=Daily splitAdjusted=False dividendAdjusted=False bars=0 session=''

I have put INDEXFTSE:.FTSE in google symbol map in instrument manager.

Please can you help?

Hi techTD,

That would indicate an incorrect setup for the instrument. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the correct settings would be, but I'd suggest you start by comparing this instruments configuration to what google lists on their web page.

Its really very frustrating... I can now see EOD data for same day for stocks from google but not FTSE index.

Please some one help!

Sorry to hear of your frustration. The settings included by default work for most instruments, but you may find instrument/provider combination like this one that require some adjustment.

Did you check the settings against what Google Finance is reportedly using? If so, what differences did you spot?

I have found the problem now. since the FTSE was imported as part of a symbol list usinh import symbol utility it was classified as stock.

I have now added FTSE (.FTSE) through intrument manager as an index. its now downloading data. However now I am not able to gerenate chart.

Where are you seeing data being downloaded?

I assumed if it is not throwing any error then its downloaded. However, I can't see data in Tool -> Historical Data Manager -> Edit. But I can see data for other stocks there.
