E7 E-Mini EUR/USD

This contract/instrument is listed in Instrument Manager and I have added it to my Instruments.

However when I go to create a chart for it (today being Sunday) NT attempts to get historical data from your servers, but when completed the chart is blank.

Is this perhaps because you don't save historical data for this instrument? If so, I guess when markets open on Sunday night (USA ET) I will start to get Live data.

E7 03-11 works fine for me on a 34tick 3min 10min etc. I have Kinetick real time data feed. I have noticed, before I went with Kinetick and just used IB's data feed, if I requested a chart type not supported by my data feed, i.e. connected to Kinetick EOD and request a 89 tick chart by mistake that the chart just goes blank.

Thank you for your post.

This would depend on your data provider, and based on your question I would take it to mean you are getting historical data from the NinjaTrader servers using a data provider that supports historical data from NinjaTrader's servers.

If that is the case then you will not receive historical data for the E7 contract as not all instruments are supported, and the E7 contract would not have that historical data available from the NinjaTrader servers.

If you go to Tools > Options > Data you can enable Save Chart Data as Historical and then the real-time data will be available for back-filling on subsequent days.

I am trying to plot E7 on a chart and even when I increase the 'Days to Load', I am not able to see data before Sep 2011. How can I see data before that like 2010.

Can you please tell me to what data feed provider you connect.

If the chart requests data before this date but no data is loaded, likely the data is not supported.

Did the data feed provider inform that you should be able to load data before this date?

Unfortunately there is no historical data present before this date on the server.
