I'm looking at March Oil Futures and a November start date is useless, but that is where it starts any time I connect.

Thank you for your post.
The start date of Market Replay is based on the dates of the Market Replay files that are available. If you wish to modify the start date you can remove older replay files.
Market Replay data is recorded and stored in compressed files located in the My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db\data folder. These files can be shared by copying the contents of this folder to another NinjaTrader installation, or can be removed from that location.Ryan O.NinjaTrader Customer Service
