Multiple Instances of TWS

Hello I need to know if this is possible: I want to be able to run one instance of TWS for testing my ATS (which has nothing to do with NinjaTrader) under my IB paper account and another instance of TWS for trading my live account using NinjaTrader. Is this doable? Thanks

Yes, this should be possible.

One thing to keep in mind is client ID with this type of setup. You'll want to make sure that NinjaTrader and the other application are not using the same Client ID setting.

Thanks. I didn't realize i needed to start both instances of TWS before trying to connect from NT. For some reason NT will fail to launch another instance of TWS if another one is already open. Also, you need to make sure the api port is different on each instance.
