Range Plot problem

I'm switching from NT6.5 to NT7 and experiencing a problem with the range plot in NT7.

In version 6.5 range plot, the Close is always equal to either the High or the Low of the bar. In version 7, I've encountered quite a few bars that don't close at the high or low (2 screen captures attached).

I've tried deleting the tick data and then downloading it, followed by "Reload All Historical Data" on the chart but the problem just won't go away.

Is there a solution to this ?

Can you please tell me what session template you have set in NT V7?

Also, in NT V6.5, what did you have your session begins and session ends time to? Did you have your charts exclude weekends, or was that value set to false?

The session template I use in NT7 is "Default 24/7".

For NT6.5, the session begins and ends are both 12:00am. Exclude weekend is set to "false".

Thank you for the clarification.

I am seeing the same results on my end on a 25 range YM ##-## chart. This is due to changes made in NT V7 bars.

Range bars will start over at the end of the session. The results you are seeing are at the end of the session, in your case at 12:00AM.

Is there a way to change the setting such that the range bar plot is the same as that in NT6.5 ?

Unfortunately not that I'm aware of without custom programming.

I would however suggest changing to either the US Index Futures RTH or US Index Futures ETH session template and see if you see more favorable results.
