Running a Strategy with ATM plus discretionary trading

I am currently running a strategy that has an ATM strategy attached.

Unfortunately, when I try to trade on my own (discretionary trading) without an ATM strategy the number of contracts get all messed up and I cannot close my discretionary trades.

Can you please advise how to accomplish both?

Please provide more detail on this issue so that we can attempt to recreate on our end & try to understand what may be taking place. Make sure to include any error messages that show up in the Log tab (right-most tab in the NinjaTrader Control Center).
