Making NT lean for execution only

Currently I'm only using NT for placing orders, not so much for charting. As I'm running another program for charting, I'd like NT to run as minimally as possible. Namely, no recording of data, no monitoring instruments of any kind except the instrument that I'm currently trading in the superdom. Some settings may be obvious, such as not recording data, but are there any suggestions you users or NT authors would make for ensuring that NT uses as few resources as possible? Basically, unless it's connected with placing an order in the DOM or viewing the T&S window, I don't want it running!

Best would be to have as many windows open as possible and request little amount of data. There are no special settings or anything

As many windows open as possible? Can you be more specific please? How do I "request as little amount of data" ?
