Calc. Decimal Places in Forex on Bar Close

Gain is my broker.

In Forex one can choose to calc. on 4 dps, 41/2 dps, or 5 dps.

I'm wondering how NT handles this:

If on a 5 dp close the price was 1.34126 if one were calculating on a 4dp basis would that get displayed as 1.3412 or would it round up to 1.3413?

There is a setting available for this. Click Tools > Options > Data tab.

Can quote currencies in:
Pip
Half Pip
Tenth pip

Thanks for the reply. I'm aware of the settings. I was just wondering how NT handled the raw data when set on pip vs tenth pip. More specifically, if the 5th number on a tenth pip setting is 5 or greater will it round up on a pip setting?

Ex. If on a tenth pip setting price reads 1.31226 if the settings were changed to be on a pip setting would that 1.31226 read 1.3122 or 1.3123?

Yes, it will round up. In your example the 1.31226 value will be rounded up to 1.3123 on a pip setting.
