Cant get Fibs to set to default ? NT7

Hey,

Setting up my standard charts in NT7, after running in 6.5 for some time with no issues. In 6.5, when I changed the fib colours etc, I could then save that fib set up so every time I used the fibs, the same # and colours are used..

Used to "Set Default" in the fib extension properties. Worked no issues.

Can´t see this option in the NT7 Fib Extension Properties.. Is there something else I need to do, to set the fibs as a default set ?

Thank you for your post.


With NinjaTrader 7, we have added Fibonacci templates. Use the following steps to save a Fibonacci template.

• After drawing a Fibonacci Retracement double click on the dotted line
• In the Fibonacci Retracement Properties window set the custom colors, style and percentage anchors
• Press ‘Apply’
• Right click within the properties window -> Manage Templates
• Save as 'Default' or enter text and press 'Save'
• Press 'OK' to save changes and close the Fibonacci Retracement Properties window.

Yep, thats worked nice. Thanks.

Much easier having a box saying "click for default" rather than some hidden right click menu though. LOL. Funny how software updates change simple things.

I set default for fibs and it disappears..NT 7 ,is it chart specific? can that be change to a universal?

Please try again but using the steps below.

• After drawing a Fibonacci Retracement double click on the dotted line
