    Market Analyzer columns empty

    Hi to NT Support Team.

    The three snap shots are taken long after close of market @ 3:30 PM.
    (Options >> Data >> Save chart data as historical is NOT checked, so no tick data.)

    1 - MA window:
    The columns 'W5' & 'B5a' are empty. (Calculate on Bar Close = True)
    The columns R5 & S5 are filled with values. (Calculate on Bar Close = False)

    2 - HDM
    The minute data for all the stocks (Snap-2 shows sample data for AXISBANK) shows the all data upto the last minute, namely the 3:30 PM Bar.

    3 - Chart
    Snap-3 shows the chart for AXISBANK. (Calculate on Bar Close = True)

    I am not able to understand why NT considers that the bar is not closed. All snaps taken a full day after close of market.

    Please clarify when NT considers that the BAR is closed? Based on system time? or Time stamp of the feed?

    I feel that the BAR must be considered closed and two blank MA columns also must display the data just like the two columns displaying the data. The same way for the chart also.

    NinjaTrader does not consider the bar to be officially closed until the next bar begins.

      Thanks for clarification, I understood the 'why' part of my query.

      But, I strongly wish that it be other way, so that it gives opportunity to study the stocks after close of market for preparation for the next day and for improvement of coding logics.

      At least There must be an option to user to make his choice. Please consider.

          One possibility is to consider the bar closed when the next bar begins (OR) scheduled close of the 'next' bar whichever is earlier.
