Order queuing

Hi , can i simulate order queuing on futures like real live trading ?

Thank you for your post.

The simulation engine will use a scientific approach to help determine your fill time based off of a number of factors, one of them being a simulation of queue time.

You can also disable queue time and force immediate fills by going to Tools--> Options--> "Simulator" tab--> check "Enforce Immediate fills".

Let me clarify , if i join the bid on my simulated account and there is 100 contracts infront of me waiting to get filled , then there is 100 contracts traded at the bid , am i the next ? is it like real trading ? ...

No, it is not exactly like live trading. It should replicate fill time based on when you placed your order and the amount of contracts being traded at that time, but there are additional factors in a real-time market which can increase the latency of your order being filled.

could you please give one example ? lets say i am trading a market with FIFO rule ....

You can play with the simulator either on a live feed or with the simulated date feed. This will give you absolute concrete example of how the simulator will fill orders.
